As a long time ranching family, we are truly committed to the well-being of our cattle and our land.
PL Bar cattle are raised in their natural habitat - open pasture. From birth until market they graze on grass and other forages just as Nature intended. We don't use grain, animal by-products, hormones, steriods or antibiotics.
We strive to improve our ranches' environment by planting specially selected legumes such as clover, vetch and sweet peas - nourishing the soil with nitrogen and promoting balanced conditions.
We know the more we support the soil and plants which thrive on our ranches, the healtheir the environemnt for our cattle and the wildlife that graze our land.
